Information & Public Relation Directorate
Information & Public Relation Directorate of the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs, which is an important and valuable department within the Ministry, has three important parts in its composition: Publications department, Information and Executive Management. Directly under the guidance of the directorate, the Information & Public Relation Directorate reflects the important objectives and activities of the Ministry in the domestic and foreign audio, visual and print media in a best way, which is appropriate between the government and the people. It has created coordination.
Currently, two magazines in the formation of this directorate are active 1_ Jirga magazine, which mainly publishes news, analytical articles, scientific and cultural contents in Pashto language, one issue is published every three months with 3000 circulations, besides this the 2_ Hamawatan magazine is also published once in every three months. An issue of 2000 copies is published in a number of important regional and national languages such as Pashto, Dari, Balochi, Uzbek, Nuristani, Pashyi, Turkmen, Shaghnani, Gujri, Guwari and Manjani languages. In the formation of this department, the general management of printing, broadcasting and distribution is also an important management that is responsible for printing, broadcasting and distributing all printed materials. This department is also responsible for the arrangement, organization, structure, publication and news coverage of all official news, analytical meetings, national days and meetings. The Department of Information and Public Relations has a website management in its structure, through this website all the media and activities of the Ministry are published. Also works that have scientific, cultural, political and historical value are printed within the framework of their possibilities and presented to the citizens for reading.
Both magazines printed by the department are regularly sent to the provinces and central units in Kabul after being arranged by the general management of printing, publishing and distribution, mostly the broadcasting part of this department.
