Minister of Borders and tribal Affairs Mullah Noorullah Noori told the elders in a meeting during his trip to Faryab province, that these peoples did not join the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan by force, but they all embraced the Islamic Emirate in order to protect their firm beliefs and values.
He added: The nation and people of Afghanistan are now united more than ever, there is no place for foreigners and foreign ideas and this gives us a confidence and further strengthens to serve.

The meeting, was held with tribal elders, scholars and university teachers to exchange ideas and share views on national unity, while the tribal elders expressed their full confidence in the leaders of the Islamic Emirate, saying that they have a history of defending their land and will not allow anyone to invade the country. The elders reiterated their commitment to any struggle and sacrifice if given permission by the leaders.

Noor Mohammad Haqqani, Deputy Minister of promotion of virtue, prevention of Evil and Hearing Complaints, addressed the meeting and said that Afghans made many sacrifices while fighting against great empires, endured pain and suffering, but never gave up on defending the homeland. He warned that anyone who interferes in internal affairs of Afghanistan will suffer the fate of the expelled invaders.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by Maulavi Mohammad Ali Jan Ahmad, Deputy Minister for Coordination of Jirgas and Tribal Affairs, Maulavi Akhtar Shah Hashemi, Representative of the Intelligence Directorate, Maulavi Abdul Ahad Fazli, Governor of Faryab, Maulvi Abdul Jalil Shahidkhel, Chairman of the Ulemas’ Council Maulavi Abdul Jalil Shahidkhel, district representatives, religious scholars, tribal elder and university professors.
