Unity and coordination meeting with tribes in Farah

In Farah Province, the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs organized a large public and tribal meeting in order to listen to the people's problems and unite the tribes. In this gathering the vice minister for coordination of jirgas and tribal affairs, mola Abdul khaliq Abid, director of planning and policy Maulavi Nik Muhammad Afghani, governor of Farah province and heads of other directorates, hundreds of religious scholars and tribal elders from the center and districts participated.
At the beginning of the meeting, several people from the group of elders and scholars gave speeches. They apreciated the coopration and coordination of IEA about the tribes and shared a series of demands for the construction of electricity, roads and water dams. After that, the vice Minister for Coordination of Jirgas and Tribal Affairs, Alhaj Mulla Abdul Khaliq Abid told the meeting: The Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs is the voice of the people. In every area where people have problems, they share them with us so that we can forward it to the relevant officials for solving. At the end of the meeting, the head of planning and policy of the said ministry, Maulvi Nik Mohammad Afghani, said: The Ministry of Borders, and Tribal Affairs has done a lot of efforts terms of uniting the tribes, solving conflicts and reducing the gap between the government and the people. He said that it is our responsibility to share your problems with the relevant government bodies and to unite all the people of Afghanistan. The meeting ended with a prayer for the country's prosperity and development.
