A Brief Introduction of Kochi Model High School in Herat

The foundation stone of this school was laid in the year 1396 related to the Independent Directorate of Nomadic Affairs in Herat Province to provide training and balanced education to nomadic children.

With the success of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the General Directorate of Nomadic Affairs, was merged to the Ministry of Borders and Tribes Affairs.

Kochi model high school have (32) formation including (7) administrative staff, (17) teachers and (8) service personnel.

Health Section:

There is a doctor in the formation of Kochi model high school, who provides health services for the students of the mentioned high school, and the medicine needed for the health of this high school is provided by the Ministry of Borders and Tribes Affairs.

Teaching Section:

The curriculum of the model high school is based on the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Education, as well as textbooks and other stationery, published and unpublished, results and testimonials of students are related to the Ministry of Education.

Teaching, Administrative and Dormitory Section:

The curriculum, published and non-published materials and certificates also belongs to the Ministry of Education. Teachers are appointed by the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs with the agreement of the Ministry of Education. The school has (6) classrooms and (7) dormitory rooms. The Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs supplies food and logistical materials at certain time. The dormitory affairs are carried out by the manager and two teachers.

Sports section:

Football, futsal, basketball and cricket teams are active and there are facilities in this field with the efforts of the school officials to strengthen the physical ability of the students.
