Directorate of Procurement

This Directorate has two departments, two general managements and executive management, which are as follows:

  • Department of Procurement
  • Planning and execution Department
  • Department of contract facilities
  • General planning management
  • executive management

This directorate generally carries out the following functions:

  • Determining and unifying the procurement needs of the Ministry.
  • Projecting integrated needs.
  • Preparation of the procurement plan, obtaining approval from the position and saving it in the APPMS system of the National Procurement Authority.
  • Announcement of the projects, request, evaluation of the proposals by the opening board of proposals, determination of the respondents and winning proposals by the evaluation board.
  • Arrangement of agreement with applicants.
  • Provision of procurement facilities after the agreement.
  • Delivery of goods (commodities) and construction works that have not been predicted in advance and come into existence immediately, demand and price determination.
