Directorate for Detection of Borders Contraventions:

• Planning, leading, managing and controlling all affairs of Border Contraventions, Violations Detection and Prevention.
• Designing useful discovery plans in accordance with the establishment of facilities in monitoring and inspection at the borders and Durand hypothetical line.
• Detection of border violations, carrying out intelligence, counter-intelligence, operative and investigative activities and establishing coordination with related organizations.
• Collecting information related to activities against the national interests of the country along the hypothetical Durand Line.
• Revealing and detecting border violations by neighboring countries at a certain time.
• Establishing and discovering the erosion of Helmand, Marghab, Hari Rood and Amu rivers and sharing the results with the relevant authorities.
