A 104 Years Long Lasting Conflict Between Two Tribes has been Solved in Ghor Province

Hundred-year-old conflict between two tribes in Ghor province, in which hundreds of people were killed, has turned into peace. Alhaj Mullah Noorullah Noori Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, Deputy minister of Jirga’s and Tribal Affairs Maulavi Muhammad Ali Jan Ahmad, director of Jirgas Sheikh Hazrat Wali Haqqani, director of Da'wat and Irshad Mufti Shafiullah Saqib and the delegation traveled to Ghor province to put an end to the enmity between tribes.
This enmity, which happened between Sardarkhil and Taymani tribes in Ghor Province has been solved with the cooperation and efforts of Mr. Noori, the governor of the province Maulvi Ahmed Shah Deen Dost, director of Shora-e-Ulama Maulavi Gul Ahmad Mutwakil and other local officials. This conflict caused hundreds of dead, injured and countless financial losses in the past century.
According to them, this conflict has been going on for a century over thousands acres of land. During the previous governments, peace decisions were made many times between them, which remained unresolved due to the dissatisfaction of the involved sides, and there were still deep conflicts between them, but Alhamdulillah it ended with the efforts and mediation of the Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Noorullah Noori, and other local officials.
Mr. Noori and the delegation also traveled to Dawlatyar district for the purpose of researching and inspecting the lands over which the two tribes had dispute. During the meeting in the presence of both sides, he announced the decision of brotherhood to the parties.
At the end, both parties expressed their satisfaction and assured that they are satisfied with this decision and after the decades it is a special mercy to the people of Ghor. They will live like brothers and will not create any obstacle for each other. Tribal elders asked the local officials to cooperate in the implementation of the decision.
