 Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, Mullah Noorullah Noori, met with the Ambassador of Iran, Mr. Alireza Bikdeli.

27th/Aug/2025  During this meeting, both sides discussed economic development, mutual trust, regional issues and establishing better coordination based on good relations between Afghanistan and Iran.

First of all, Mr. Noori welcomed the delegation and said that the friendly relations between Afghanistan and Iran are historical and it will continue to the future. The minister emphasized to continue cooperating with each other based on mutual trust. His Excellency, Mr. Noori also mentioned that: Afghans have suffered from forty years of internal war which caused us immigration to the regional countries. He asked Mr. Bikdeli to treat and deal with Afghans living in Iran within the framework of Islamic and international norms.

The Iranian Ambassador Alireza Bikdeli said in his speech that, the Iranian government respects all neighboring countries, especially Afghanistan, and is trying to further expand political, economic, and friendly relations with Afghanistan. Bikdeli called the coordination between two countries very important and pledged continued cooperation with Afghanistan.
